The Southern Photographic Society was set up in the 1970's by Mike Goldie and friends to cater for Photographers in the South of the Isle of Man, in 2005 a Digital branch was also formed along with this web site.

Although we are based in the South of the Island, anyone from any part of the Island (or else where) is most welcome to join the society.

The society meets regularly every 2 weeks from September through to May and we hold regular instructional nights and club competitions.

Digital competition entries are e-mailed in and results are published on the web site so even if you cannot make the meetings you can still join in the competitions.

During the Summer months we hold regular Outings and competition/social nights.

We currently meet in Chequers at the Cherry Orchard hotel, Port Erin on Tuesday evenings starting at 8pm.

Please feel free to look round our website and browse the photo galleries to see examples of the work of our members, including competition entries.

If you would like any information about the club please click on the e-mail link.
